Crewe summer canal league

10 teams of 6 1st round fished today on the Shropshire Union Canal at Goldstone and Soudley
This stretch of canal fished as well as everyone was expecting with some big weights...... Motty did the bizz with a terrific 25lb odd of hybrids,roach and a couple of bream , 18lb i think was second, one section of 10 anglers 5lb odd was only good enough for last in section despite loads of boats. I will try and put the full results up tomorrow

The canal fished really well with loads of small roach to squatt tactics and a few better hemp fish , Motty made it 2 wins on the bounce with a cracking all roach bag an ounce short of 9lb from the roots on the Ideal Standard, Liam also had all roach including 20 on hemp from the middle of the cyianide.Preecy was on the end of the cyianide .......... again ! :D

ok lads round 4(9th august) has unfortunately had to be moved from wheelock to middlewich due to problems booking the water
this sundays match is still at wardle as planned draw 8.30am the rifleman inn 68 james hall street nantwich cw5 5qe

Get this !!!!
Sensas NW had the first 3 individuals in the match today on the T&M at Middlewich ....... and 4 section winners from 6 ........
And still got beat into 2nd place on the day by the Trabucco Midlands VDE drawbags !!!
