or is there no interest in the winter league final this year the first practice match was canceled and the second not full we have one or two going to the nene this weekend but with the three or four big teams going down all week the venue will change anyway
most of the lads are taking time off work to practice but even this will not be enough as you can practice right up to friday

Joff, people I`ve talked too with different teams are of the same opinion, don`t get me wrong but it`s still the big one in team fishing, but the problem is "The Fishing". It`s damn expensive for team members to justify put any effort into this especially, when you are already years behind teams that have been on the Nene for years and can afford through sponsors or otherwise to take time off and put a lot of practice in. Coupled with the fact the fishing has not been great over the past few years, is it worth putting yer money into it???? The competition itself is brilliant but is it time for the final venue to be changed, natural or commercial, cos at the end of the day, to us the anglers it is about the standard of fishing not the rest of the circus that goes with it. Long live the A/T W/league but get a decent venue sorted . By the way I hope it rains the week running up, then we might see it fish

you'd better bring a weed cutter ropas its solid i was told any fish above 6oz is a nightmare to get in
