i don't know how he doe's it every year he's there or there abouts and this year wasn't any different he won the first festival and was third in our festival what a great bloke you can never stop learning off the man he reminds me of the great IVAN he turns up in his green wellies with a fag hanging out his mouth always ready to help you if he can this week the wind was gale force at times yet don rarely fishes anything but the pole in holland after 11 years over in holland he is the man to beat

I 100% agree, one of the best allround anglers ever in this country.

I remember Don when we fished the Trent round Nottingham in the 70's and 80's, he's won on Canals, Stillwaters and now he also wins carping.
Far removed from a lot of the one trick ponies around now.
