Had a lovely walk today in the outdoors and we came across this lake
Anyone fancy a guess at the area/venue.

I was there about 3 weeks ago with JK and the grandaughter

In picture 2 the bab got soaked despite having her wellies on standing the water in the far corner where the bench is

Armed with an 8 ft stick, she walked along that far bank (pickie 2), right to left looking at the photo (with me) and 'spooked' a couple of carp from the 'shallows' with her stick. Some days you can see plenty basking in there

We saw a goose walking n water

It was Cannock chase. Well done to all who guessed correctly.

We didnt see any fish although we did watch some blokes trying. He did get caught in the grass. We didnt laugh much honest

Did you park up at the visitors centre where they've got all that 'Ape' thingy magig up in the trees.

No we parked on the side of the road. The BBQ's were going on the grass and making me hungry.

We went round the visitor centre but I was too scared to put my hand in the box 

Had an ice creme and some chips too.

Lol yeah its Cannock Chase, 1st time i been up there and it was much needed on my day off from work, chips, ice cream etc walk about felt totally refreshed! hope to visit again soon
