Well Vince and I ventured down to Monk Lakes to have a crack on Bridges Lake yesterday after all the reports of decent bags of fish coming out.

those big slabs are nice pete ,and the goldens are just stunning fish .
you say you had chub ,we didnt have a single chub or barbel when john and i fished it .

When Simon stocked the lake originaly he put a load of 4" chub in. They're now round the 1lb mark. All the ones I had took the pellet on the drop. Only the one Barbel for me yesterday though.
