i 've not the proper results yet but i can tell you that we are going to France again but this time its our B team that has done all the damage after endless phone calls trying to put a team together right up to the event it showed given the right draw you can bet anyone on the day LEICESTER SENSAS B took the first day apart and scored 11 pts a fantastic result [might of been because i drew for them] specially with barston fishing so hard we all thought this couldn't be beaten and a average result on day two could keep LEICESTER SENSAS B in with a chance.but with dorking right behind you on 15 it was all going to be on the last day
and yet again DORKING showed what a great team they are strength and depth like no other team took the second day with 8 points
and with LEICESTER SENSAS having a couple of bad results it looked although it wasn't going to be there day but the last two team points to come in were enough to succour 2nd spot well done boys
top three
1ST DORKING
2ND LEICESTER SENSAS B
3RD STARLETS
on another note if anyone wants to suggest a venue for next years final and is suitable for 120 to 150 pegs please contact mark downes as they want to move it around the country
but in my eye's barston and packington are great venues and everyone caught a few fish OK the second day was blowing a gale but the individual winner
PETER BAILEY LEICESTER SENSAS caught 13kg on the first day and 11kg on the second day to record a perfect 2 points with steve hemmingrey DORKING finishing on 3 points for second
remember what ever venue you suggest it will have to take a lot of pressure the week before this is why i think the final is well suited at barston and packington
STEVE GARDENER
PETER BAILEY
DON SLAYMAKER first day
MARK EUSTACE second day
BRADLEY TITMAS
STEVE PERMAN
i draw there pegs mate
thanks to don and steve perman for getting me out of jail
A very well run event which is great for angling, Well done to Sensas and the French for making this one of the best events on the calender.
Well Done to all the winners especially Joffs boys great performance
If Stanilands is put in it would be fantastic fishing for sure mate.
The lads who have fished it this winter have all said the more feed going in the better the fishing has got, must be the best B/J venue in the country so who gives a crappity smack where it is !!!
lloydy would you keep it the same time of year mate
Because the fact they have a league running up to it i don't think you can change the time of year, but in an ideal world i would have all finals in september or early october in my opinion the best time for fishing in this country.
