Well done Ropa. What happened to Cleveland. Neil G wanted a £20 bet with me that they'd beat Barnsley on the day!

Cheers lads, Jon, Cleveland only went there too pellet fish !! Started practising in December, had a few framers and thought they had it sorted. The venue changed dramatically over the last few weeks when they put the least effort in. They were stuck on the trout fishing on Willows and Laurels where 4 lads would be, and were caught out on the worm and caster fishing on these 2 lakes also. The wind on the day was galeforce meaning they were wasting their time pellet fishing on exposed pegs when you needed too nail a bait down, some of their lads only went to their pegs with pellet, Joe Carrass also picked up on this on the morning after looking on some of their bait tables. I had 3 lads struggling on Bonsai half where through got them too switch to meat and 1 won his section and 2 were 3rd in their sections. Cleveland just wern`t adapatable on the day mate so they finished 6th

Fair comment and sounds a bit naive with no bait bans! Why meat and was that on the pole or the lead?

Jon,some of our lads walked the complex Thursday to see what was happening and noticed locals fishing meat hookbaits on the method feeder and were all catching. We told our lads to take it as a change bait, we started off on banded hard pellet but had to wait for bites, a switch to meat brought an instant response and bites were coming quicker

It` a case of monkeys see`s, monkey does

Joff yes mate , we`ve took on 18year old May Potter, Former Browning Youth Champion, she`s going to Germany with us back end of month to fish a Browning team match

( No sexist comments please )
