Entertainment for the night is a talented, brilliant upcoming vocalist  - Natasha Marie - and a feast of Tamla and Soul is promised  

(This lass is reported to be that good that Gez has even got her booked for his 40th in Nov later this year)  

Entry is $2 on the door - easily recouped with the low bar prices charged at the club  

I hope as many members, including past and importantly 'new' members, can make the evening.  

Come and have a natter, applaud the victors of 2008, reflect on the highs and the banter we had and have a great night  

All other forum members and guests are also welcomed

My keyboard is playing up - its 200 pence

i feel sorry for the poor door man having to count out all them 1 pennies each time some one comes in. He will be totaly rolloxed if a group of 5 people turn up. By the time hes counted the five lots for 200 1 pences out the show will be over show the group of 5 will want thier 200 pennies back again

One for the AGM - just prompted by a trip to my car boot.

Is it worth the time/effort and money spent on trophies etc having a presentation in 2010

Ok - a few handed in bona fide sick notes, but many didnt and turnout support was pretty poor.

If fact I say this post is prompted following a visit to the carboot - I've still got trophies in there that people haven't 'claimed' or even enquired about :(

One for you to ponder over the coming months......

That's a pretty sad state of affairs if the members can't make the effort to show their support on just one night a year. :(

No - we had around a 50% turnout......

the presentation night is always enjoyed by those who attend, its set in a good venue too.
