where has all the freezing temperatures gone i'd love the money these weathermen [woman] are on.only to get it wrong again and again two days ago we were talking -8 for a week

the canal around here is not frozen anymore

and now they are on about snow ::) ::) ::)

Go into BBC 1 400 and use that one; it is a 'farmers forecast' and far more reliable than any news ones. It is not the same one that is on BBC 1 News.
The one day is usually spot on; the five-day is accurate upo to a point but they do keep it up to date often canginging the third, fourth and fifth days.

I went scraping today also. After I had broke the ice (only 1/2" thick), I got out for a fag and a pee. I put my suit back on and waded back in to start scraping. At the point that freezing cold water reached my toes I noticed that I had forgot to zip my drysuit back up!
