A new pole would be nice, but not half as nice as not having and credit card bill or loan payments each month
Roll on the end of April.
I will never be the tart that Conna is now. I seen him today in his new Preston hat
I will leave him to explain to you why 2 kids beat him today
Just kidding Dude

Well erm it's like this, gulp. The one lad had a Bream 1.5lbs and a skimmer approx 8oz and his winning weight was 2lbs 2oz, the other lad weighed 1lbs 10oz but I'm not sure what his weight consisted of coz I had to rush off to meet simple for 4.30 so I didn't hang about. I weighed 1lb 7oz 2dr and finished 4th I think. Dry net George on the next peg to me hooked played and landed a beautiful open faced crash helmet
But he couldn't weigh it in of he would have won the match easily.
The whole match fished hard though with only the odd roach showing to everyone all day, I caught most of mine on the punch, crocky ounced me on the next peg to finish 3rd i think, as I say I didn't hang around for the full result but there were only 4 more to weigh in after me and from what they said they hadn't had as much as me.
I didn't enjoy it at all today, I was freezing cold and the wind was once again putting a damper on things.
I hope your going to take some nice new photo's with all my new gear simple and replace the existing ones
.

Sure will matey. Not added any pictures for a while now. That will change when we start again though I suppose.
I would have LOVED to have been there when Dry Net pulled that helmut out LOL
He will need to put it on for when the matches start to protect him from the banter

I drew peg 6, the council or someone has cut all the trees back now, also the weed is all gone, or at least most of it. Apparently there have been 100 people down there dragging it out and it's going to be extended for another 3 weeks, something to do with these community workers I think. They've done a good job so far anyway.
The wind was blowing strongly from right to left but I found out the last 15 mins that if I dragged the float slowly from left to right I would get a bite every time almost instantly although these are always hard to hit, well for me anyway
