All the lakes are different Al, it would help to know which one you are fishing. ;)

There you go Al, Haven't fished it for a while, but it always used to be a mix of silvers and carp. can suffer if it gets a bit of a blow on, if you treat it a bit like Shannons at this time of year you shouldn't go to far wrong, depths can vary a bit though so take a bit of time plumbing up. the 1st peg on the right as you walk onto the spit always used to be the flyer, as there used to be a load of brambles trailing in the water which the carp hang around.
Keep an eye out for Kingfishers as they often pop in from the river at this time of year. :)

The only problem with Frant is that they used to move a lot of the stock around the various lakes, so you were never sure just what was in which lake at any one time. :(
