Use your imagination...............what do you think

But if you want a debate as I know your preferences differ from mine

A venue

a) created by natures impact upon the earth – rivers, pools and lakes

b) that may be a by product of mans impact upon the landscape – pools created from quarrying, drains, canals, reservoirs etc.

c) originally created to aesthetically please the eye – not originally intended as a ‘fishery’ – viz pools on country estates

Whilst the above may not cover all venues considered as falling under my loose term of ‘natural’ I personally specifically exclude.................

holes dug in the ground, less than 20 years of age with no matured landscaping, dug specifically as commercial ventures to fleece anglers in pursuit of multiple ‘tons’ from their money - particularly those venues where an angler pays a peg fee equivalent to a ‘day’ ticket, for a 5 hour match and is expected to pay the same again if wanting to ‘stay over’ after the match or is forced off the water by a following match……………..
