And with an hour to go when no one in the match has had a sign of a barbel opens his gob again and shouts....

"Oi Bicko, it's getting hard now, I bet you a pound neither of us has another fish in the last hour"

Then catches a roach next run through...


That was Bicko's 1st pint paid for then!

we both went the last hour and a half before i made that rash statement with out a bite and with 40 minutes to go it looked like no one would catch another fish it had extra flow from the slush at pierrepont it just looked terrible then with ten minutes to go i let my float go 30yards down stream even lost sight of it behind a tree low and behold clunk a roach   why did i have to catch it i could'nt loose it as it close between us and you guessed it he was watching every move mind you are you aloud to walk in super leagues   as one point bicko was peaing up my van that just takes the yellow stream still we won the day on the trent the home of the great trentmen   about 20 years ago  and to make it a lot bett godfrey took us to a pub with half price beer while ENGLAND PLAYED
also if the barnsley angler had'nt lost a barbel half way though i would'nt of made the second bet

sunday saw us triumph in the tetley league with 34 points
