Call me 'Lucky'

In my League match at Dams and Lock yesterday this happened, -

I drew 84, peg looked good, it was not half way along a boat and there were no pleasure anglers on it. (Ihave been in the middle of a moored boat TWICE and had pleasure anglers once). I was getting my usual next peg whacking but trying my hardest and just started to catch a few hemp fish. It was 2 o'clock and two lads came along with a bit of fishing kit. They were polite and asked me if I had any spare bait. I told them to help themselves and off they went up to Forge Lane Bridge. I started catching odd hemp fish again and who appears on the far bank opposite, yes you have guessed it. They were not directly opposite but just a few yards to my right. My own pinkies went in, in one go, straight in my swim. No more bites on hemp. Does this thing only happen to me?
The place is the biggest crappity smack sh!t hole in the world.

I went in the Seven Stars in Brocton(staffs) after work for a xmas drink last year. We had work clothes on and woolly hats as it was quite nippy.
This snot nosed spotty kid came over and told us to take our hats off or he would throw us out  Image :D

Im glad I still had some clangers on my boots, I put my hat on at the bar, waved at him and left some rather nice slug mud trails on the way out on the nice carpet  Image Image

Pub should be renamed 'Hare and no cap'.
A bloke named Rob Weekly kept his crappity smack cap on.

Yeah, I know the Seven Stars as well.
I have run the odd match from there yonks ago.
Now you have to say prayers before you have a pint!
