well yet again barston delivered the goods apart from the anglers that did'nt turn up >:(don't ask again the 22 that fished caught a total of 789lb and that was without 3anglers throwing back [all three had doubles as well] quality skimmers was the name of the game and only 4 or 5 carp caught and not bye the same angler
67lb won the match young kev lavell who had driven down from liverpool to fish [he thought a few more would be on it so did i >:(thanks again to the stay aways]he had a lovely net of fish skimmers roach perch carp and a couple of big tench all on maggot and caster 2nd was pete caton again showed he is a outstanding pellet angler with 57lb 4oz [and not from the best area of the lake]and third was mark taylor with 53lb 6oz the good thing about barston is it could be won anywhere on the lake

the best part of the day was the toss pot V the catty i know lee's been but victory was sweet the main differents must of been presentation the little fine details that lee must of missed as he weighed 39lb dead after trying to weigh himself in then screaming the weight was wrong as we took 2 house bricks out and then it was i've lost this and that
i did go quiet for a moment as i thought it was close with more all the way up the bank i took a deep breath and took my first net out knowing it had a low double in it but it did'nt weigh as much as i thought and with a crowd of at least 40 to 50 people started muttering untill the second net came out with a total weight of 41lb 13oz i had taken the MARS BAR sweet victory from the YAM YAM he's now my bitch
