My Day Out with Ian Didcot
I met Ian Didcot at Preston Innovations Woodland View Fishery near Droitwich on Saturday the 19th of July for a practice session for an up coming UK Champs match in August. My brief to him was simple; all I wanted to do was look at the techniques that could work on the day of the UK Champs match.
Too cut a long story short we both had a really good days fishing where I picked up loads of info on the venue and some general tips that could potentially be used anywhere. Ian is a thoroughly nice chap and it was a real pleasure to have spent the day in his company. I had to really tear myself away at the end, although at that point I think I had been up for about thirteen hours, with a two hour drive still too do.
