14 fished today in mostly sunny and warm - oh and breezy weather. Now as we all know 'breezy' at Monk Lakes can mean some pegs had it 'blowin hard' with waves breaking and facing it full on, while others were pretty much becalmed all day, and so it was today. We fished pegs 45-77 - ie the near bank and both sides of the spit - giving plenty of space for everyone. As you will see from the results the end pegs fared well as is usual, but generally the lake fished less well than our last visit.
First today, and continuing his good run of form was Keith with a splendid 247lb, almost double the second weight, which was Chris T with a dogged 125lb, and third was Mark with 109lb just pipping Kyle with 105lb. These were the only tons today and all from end pegs - not to mention some good angling of course - well done fellas.
Result:
1. Keith peg 67 - 247-04lb
2. Chris T peg 77 - 125-08lb
3. Mark peg 45 - 109-00lb
4. Kyle peg 56 - 106-04lb
5. Clive peg 64 - 94-12lb
