Thanks Simon.
Spose those rules are mostly sensible but doesnt life get complicated eh.
Think i'm going to have to buy another carp friendly keepnet. Hope one of my landing nets will do... no idea what they're made of.

The last time we fished it they were about 1-3lb and there are some normal larger carp in there as my mate found out....
He was on white hydro and played a 10lb'er for 45 mins lol
Not sure what size they are now but they gave a good fight when they were small

I'm envious of you here, I used to fish Pershore every week a few years ago, mainly below the weir though and I used to have a ton of big Chub most weeks, above the weir it's deep but this time of year the hemp and tares score really well with the roach.
Which stretch have you got?

hi mate,
Left bank below the weir, up untill last year it used to fish brilliant after the floods it was terrible.Only 4 catched last season 20lb won it all bream from the weir no barble or chub showed. It will be interesting to see how it fishes this time, my fav peg besides the wier is the gulley just past the "rocks" peg.

That's the spot mate just past the rocks. I used to fish the peg right next to the little cut out and fish a stick float across the far side along side the trees, there used to be some big Pike there too, I often saw a duck taken by them. feeding hemp and caster and small pieces of meat on the hook. It makes my mouth water the thought of it.
Let me know how you get on
