The 6th and final round of the Angling Trust Oxford winter league was fished by 6 teams of 8 on the Oxford canal between Kidlington and Oxford. After the recent rain the canal was coloured and flowing with a influx of cold water. Despite this the canal still fished ok but weights were down. Well done to the Drennan Oxford team on winning the league and Ian Young on having top individual points.
Individual
1st Robert Head - Top Tackle - 11lb 5oz. Robert drew Top end peg below Elizabeth Jennings bridge and had skimmers and perch on worm over chop worm and then bloodworm over joker feed.
2nd Stuart Keable - Rive A4 - 10lb 4oz. Stuart drew 5 above Yarnton lane bridge and had mainly skimmers on worm over chop worm.
3rd Tommy Boyce - Drennan Oxford - 9lb 2oz. Tommy drew 5 below Yarnton lane bridge and also had mainly skimmers on bloodworm over joker feed.
4th Ian Madden - Rive A4 - 8lb 10oz.
