Spose you never got a pickie of the chap Mr V?
However, the reason for this posting is to ask is there a hush hush down at the Power Station? I was thumbing thru an old AT last night dated Dec 12th ready to bin it and on page 6 was the headlines 'Trent barbel record falls'............with added comment 'from Staffordshire section of river' There was a pickie of a guy - Steve Rowan aged 39 from Hednesford - holding a 16lb 12oz fish...........and guess what, the background just looks like the railway embankment just above the arches, elevated and close to the river.
The article says the guy has switched his attentions from the Severn after 8 or 9 years with just one double, to the upper Trent where he'd had 2 doubles on earlier sessions in the year.
I'll take the pickie to work to show you when you're down from Scotland (unless you've seen it already ::))
