The 3rd round of the Angling Trust Oxford winter league was fished on the Thames at medley and Donnington. The river was dropping fast after being in near flood conditions midweek. Predictably bream showed in pockets mainly at Medley and Rive A4 anglers made the most of good draws to dominate the individual and team results.
Individual
1st Darren Wright - Rive A4 - 41lb. Darren drew in the middle of the Perch bay on Medley and had bream on the pole and a pole feeder with lobworm on the hook.
2nd Stuart Harrop - Rive A4 - 27lb 6oz. Stuart drew 1 below the Mud on Medley and had 7 bream on pole and pole feeder with worm on the hook.
3rd Liam Page Smith - Rive A4 - 26lb 8oz. Liam drew at the bottom end of the Poplars on Medley and had 5 bream plus skimmers on pole and pole feeder and worm.
4th Steve Townsend - Drennan Oxford - 21lb 14oz
5th Myles Andrews - Maidenhead - 20lb 10oz
