13 fished today. The Match Lake offers an interesting prospect of a few 'proper' carp and good bags of bream & skimmers. So do you go for the carp outright or the bream and hope to nick a munter along the way. Makes for interesting line and elastic choices tho. Anyway the fishing turned out to be pretty hard going and a few struggled today.
Todays winner was Chris T with 70lb who opted to go for the carp on the pellet wag at long range and included two donkeys of 21 and 17lb in his net. 2nd was Josh with 58lb - he also opted for the carp route fishing on the tip with 8mms in a PVA bag and included one double in his catch. 3rd was yours truly with 52lb of bream on the corn - they were'n't really having it today but careful presentation ensuring a moving bait tempted them now and again.

Result:
1. Chris T peg 19 70-04lb
2. Josh peg 30 58-04lb
3. Tony R peg 23 52-08lb
4. Mark peg 29 40-12lb
5. Mick peg 22 31-08lb
6. Dave peg 20 25-04lb
7. Kyle peg 32 24-00lb
8. Terry peg 21 19-00lb
9. Keith peg 24 16-08lb
10. Jim peg 17 10-08lb
11= Tony W peg 18 4-08lb
11= Gino peg 25 4-08lb
13. Simon peg 31 DNW (put back)

Sections 17-20 Chris T, 21-25 Tony R, 29-32 Josh
