As per previous posts this will be our last match at Colemans Cottage. So who wants a last crack at it? Its going to have to be a 5 hour match due to their rules, so I suggest we all have an extra 30 minutes in bed and draw at 9 am and fish 10.30 til 3.30.

Is it New Stepfield or Old Stepfield we're fishing?

We normally fish New Stepfield, though John mentioned he has fished Old a number of times and says the fish are bigger and he prefers it.
I may be able to change to old once I know numbers.

Does anyone know what the access is like ( longer walk ??)

I presume it is still their nets both landing and keepnets.

Re which lake - I'm happy to go with the flow. The 'other' Stepfield is a bit of an unknown entitiy - we need to be sure its got enough pegs that give everyone a fair chance, thats all. Personally I'm not so keen on long waits for bigger fish a la Rolfs.

I’m not sure any of us want a 4 hour wait for 5 bites in the last hour a la Rolfs.

Unless there is a sudden increase in activity on here it looks like we won’t be needing many pegs!!!

Right that’s 13 of us and we will be on OLD STEPFIELD. I have been told there is enough room for about 15 cars round there.
Usual rules apply using their nets. See you all in the morning at the cafe for the draw around 9am or a bit before.
