We fished either side of the centre spit on Lake 1 today. Sunny periods and breezy, with the wind blowing down the length of the spit, so being Monks this meant light ripple at the far end and full on waves at the near end. 12 fished today. 1st for the second match running was John H with 91lb including a very respectable 38lb of silvers, fishing dead reds to begin with and later corn. 2nd was Gino with a solid 82lb and 3rd was Dave, who for the first time in several matches was able to fish right through, and got his rewards with a 75lb bag. Well done gents. Two other honorable mentions this week - Chris W with a fine 41lb of silvers in his bag, and Mark with best fish of the day a 16lb mirror no less.
