Simple Match Fishing Forum

Our next outing is the first of 2 new lakes for us. We have never fished the snake before but hopefully we can get some decent consistent weights from it.
If anyone knows anything about the place and how best to fish it I’m sure the rest of us wouldn’t mind some info.

I will be confirming numbers and rules and net limits with them next week.

So who is ready for a venture into the unknown.

Dave - What time is the draw?

Previously at Puddledock we have drawn early, dropped the gear off at the peg, did a little bit of tackling up then went for breakfast whilst others looked after the tackle.

Or are we having breakfast then drawing for pegs.

I say we have breakfast first then do the draw snake lake is a lot further away from the cafe than road lake so probs not a good idea to leave gear laying around ?

I think it was breakfast first earlier in the year ( I wasn’t there so may be wrong )

So breakfast first should be ok. We appear to be a bit short on numbers this week. I’m sure Kyle said he was coming but not heard from him yet, nor Troy and Kris

I think we just did the normal routine of breakfast, then draw 8:30? So suggest we stick with that.
The cafe is usually open earlier than they say on the website. I think it was open by 7:30 last time - can anyone remember?

Btw everyone, no need to use our normal car park - go straight past - there's one nearer the snake lake.
