Colemans Cottage - Woods Lake 11th May 2019

Well Marsh AC has fished at Colemans for many a year, and I can say without doubt that Woods lake was harder today than on any other occasion.
No-one was really very sure why - certainly the lake was pretty fully pegged with 2 club matches on it and this will not have helped matters. That said we still had 'peg 2 and miss one', so everyone had an empty peg to one side. Whatever the reason they were not having it today, and most of us scratched around for the odd fish, offering every possible bait and presentation, often with little to show for it. Quite a few of the better weights were still only made up of relatively few fish, but of a decent size. This was the case for todays winner Kris, who led the way with 44lb - first man to beat Chris T this season, but only just, by 3lb as he put 41lb on the scales for 2nd place. 3rd was Mark just 2lb behind and closely followed by several other weights within a pound or two. Well done gents
