Ok folks a week to go before our next match so I thought I'd better get things going.
Next up is Stepfield - we hav'n't fished this one for a couple of years so it will be interesting to see how things have developed.
I can only find Stepfield results for early Aug - when 374lb won it with two 200lb+ back up weights.
I cant see us hitting those sort of levels, although I have to say Keith is in relentless form at the mo. Who knows? (Time for revenge Mick)
And of they're having it up in the water then Simon could be the one to watch.

So who's up for it?

Available:
Tony R
Keith

I assume it’s their nets as usual and no meat allowed. I will be confirming that and pegs later in the week.

As it’s F1s I think Simon will be the one to watch after his coaching session. ;) ;) Mind you I’m sure Keith picked up some good tips after his match against all those sponsored guys last week.

The 5 hours was because of the high temperatures. I hope that as the temps are now much lower we can do 6 hours.

Cool....another 5 pints of pellets needed then...although spoke to them today, keep it quiet but they are having hair-rigged carrots to a size 22 :o

Best you cancel that extra 5 pint of pellets Simon. The guy in the shop says that they are now only allowing 5 hour matches so unless I can persuade Gerry to allow more ( unlikely) it seems we will to be stuck with 5 hours for the future as well.
His recommendation is to fish 10 til 3 as the lake tends to die off later on, unlike out and out carp where it improves the later you fish. We will decide times on Saturday.
Usual stuff , their nets and they will do weigh in
