Its nearly time again for us all to think about sitting at the side of the lakes again watching Al battering the small carp shallow or seeing Tony playing Zorro with his top 5. The temperature is going to rise rapidly and be 20 degrees with the sun shining and no wind. :whistle :whistle

Claygate Eva is up first with hopefully some nice easy F1s to gently ease us into the season. So who has their gear all sorted and is going to join in. Im off now to unpack my gear from last October and see if I need to make any rigs :thumsup

Can you also make sure you have seen my post in Club banter about fees.

I wonder if Clive has come out of hibernation yet or is still tucked up in his duvet in case it gets cold again? ;D

I’m fairly sure that we used his nets last year though he said we could have used our own. I will confirm with him when I ring him with final numbers during next week.

Spoke to Dave at Claygate and you can use your own nets provided they are dry. If not then use theirs ( I don’t expect anyone has used their nets for ages so they have probably all been dry for months). :thumsup

Only info available is that before the last cold spell the fish did come up in the water later in afternoon on maggot/caster. Who knows how they will react after the cold this weekend.
