Simple Match Fishing Forum

looking for a match this weekend that might have 50 pegs on it has been the hardest job for years unless you want commercial fishing have we really given up on rivers and canals in the leicestershire area the river soar has not had one match on it or a night match and the reason is i don't want to fish or run 10 peg matches frisby pits on a thursday night gets 20 plus the glebe mon/wednesday 30 plus after 20 plus phone calls i find the whole of leicestershire anglers must be going to lakeview that means all the lakes and every peg bl##dy great
so try and tell me that in few years we all will be fishing commercials
me i'm off to new waters i hope over in sunny walsall wear i'm told the canals are brilliant and have 10lb in every peg i'm still going if i catch 3lb and have a laugh

if only the river soar had the pegs evesham has as the fishing would be a lot better

in fact i'm going down the river to take some photos later in the week so it reminds me of where i used to fish

Please please please God let Toff draw in between me and Bill Yards....

Then again, present company omitted, Trentmen do seem to have a fair proportion of my old team, Izaak Walton Stafford.
Some of these guys must be nearing pension age now as this was the mid to late 80's.
