. It happend as I had a carp at the net and was feeding my shallow line and the top 2 shot out my hand and across the surface. At the time I was more gutted about losing my first fish as it was fishing hard this was about an hour and half into the match.I set up another top kit and continued to fish shallow but tommo and sprucey were catching (sprucey on silvers) and it was fishing hard but after a while I started to get a few fish shallow but was knackered and it was a struggle to keep my eyes open. I continued to catch in but didn't think I had enough.
