Oxford winter league round 2 Medley and Folly

The 2nd round of the Angling Trust Oxford winter league was fished by 6 teams of 8 on a very clear Thames at Medley and Folly. The fish are still very tightly shoaled and the pike very active resulting in a very close match in the individual and team results.
1st Stuart Keeble – Sensas A4 – 22lb 12oz. Stuart drew the peg everyone want, bottom end peg on Medley, and just won the match with a beg of roach on 13m pole and caster over caster and hemp feed.
2nd Steve Harwood – Drennan Oxford – 22lb 11oz. Steve drew on the cottages at the bottom end of Folly and had all roach on caster over groundbait at 13m
3rd John Beesley – Drennan ODAA – 21lb 12oz. John drew 1 above the winner at the bottom end of Medley and had all roach on maggot over groundbait at 13m
4th Charlie Somerton – Sensas A4 – 16lb 13oz.
