River looked pretty good, and was falling and clearing after all the high levels over the last few weeks. I honestly thought it would fish well, but instead, the Grueller series kicked in early this season. Me and Tricast chose the pegs to fish, trying to keep the long walks to a minimum. I hold my hands up, and admit I got it wrong. One or two lads had pretty unfishable pegs, but do you know what......nobody complained or whinged, just made the best of what they had. That's what makes this group of lads special to spend a day with. Thanks for all the usual banter and another great day out 
and if it wasn't for me putting you right on how to fish your flyer of a peg you would still be sitting there now waiting for a bite
