ODAA open Thames - Medley

The seasons 1st Oxford and District open by fished by 32 anglers on the Thames at Medley. With the river flowing nicely and a little piece of colour it was always going to be a match about catching bream. Most of the bream were caught in the poplars but there were odd ones caught all through.
1st Paul Passmore - Devizes MG - 43lb 2oz. Paul drew on the famous fallen tree peg at the top end of the poplars and had bream and skimmers on the open end feeder with groundbait and with worm on the hook.
2nd Gary Wiliamson - Devizes MG - 38lb 6oz. Gary also drew in the poplars and had a similar bag of bream skimmers on open end feeder and worm.
3rd Ryan Seymour - Banbury Gunsmiths - 28lb 1oz. Ryan also drew in the poplars and had a similar net of bream and skimmers on open end feeder and worm.
4th Arnold Liaukevicius - Drennan Oxford - 21b 1oz. Arnold drew near the Perch pub and had mainly skimmers on open end feeder and worm.
