Does anybody know whether this pole is ok for light canal work ?

or does anybody use one for canal work or know of anyone else who uses one ?

I'm looking at maybe getting one but I wont be going anywhere near commercials.

thanks.

Gets a good review from Mr Bones in P F Mag, but he was fishing Mackins :o

Only comes with 1 match kit and 4 power kits (or it did do), unless you can chop and change....?

Can change the power kits for match kits, so could have 5 top 3's + CK.

so the package is ok, just was wondering about the pole itself.

Have a look at the Browning Silverlite mate. They are a very good pole for canal work. If you have a look at Matts or Pats pole when you come a walk along next you will be impressed with it.You can get different levels of Silverlite pole depending on the grade of carbon used which alters the price to suit.Id def have a look mate first.

Looks ideal the silverlite Ian. 13mtr + 5 extra top kits + a CK as well. Only £100 pound dearer than the matchwinner and designed for small fish.

just got to work out how to use it now !!
