Never fished there before....
Can anyone tell me if THIS is the place please??

That's the place Si. It's a cracking pool and very well maintained.

Si / conor, is that the pool thats inside the old Tarmac House grounds (called Hilton Hall now) ? If it is ive never fished it but its a lovely looking pool, with nice lawns and pegs.
Ive never been able to find out exactly how to get to the waters edge or how you pay ect to fish it. The closest ive ever got to the water is the other side of the hedge and as the motorway police are based in there i didnt think it was a good idea to jump the edge and just start fishing

Access is via the 'hole in the wall' on the A460 just past Dark Lane

You follow the track that leads upto the pool plus the one run by Chubbs.

Only prob ME is that you need a key to get through the first gate by the bungalow............

i know the gate your on about TK. Every time ive seen that gate its always been locked > No wounder i cant never get near the pool . Maybe if Si as a little space vaccant on his match i could get to the pool ive always seen but never got closer than the hedges

I've heard the owners are a bit on the funny side.
A bloke I use to fish with said that they had a match on there a while back and had problems with the owners son coming in mid match and starting fishing.
If its anything like Chubbs pool there'll be some cracking fish in there

They are a funny lot, very strict rules, any litter at all left after the match will result in us being banned without question. It's called dan's pool coz the owners son is named dan and he does occasionally turn up to fish it. If I remember right there are certain pegs that have to be left out just for him.

You can't get a day ticket unless your accompanied by someone in the club.

It is a cracking pool though.

what about blood worm ? It says worm but doesnt specify which types so does that mean all types of worm can be used ?

Bloodworm and Joker are banned in the club anyway so even if you could use them at the venue you still could not use them

can i use cat meat (ie whiskas, coshida, kitti kat ect) or dog meat (ie pedidgree chum, chappie ect)  or horse meat (ie shergar or red rum ect)  as it says you can use meat but doesnt specify which type of meat ?

very few people can get luncheon meat, most people use spam or chopped pork so are they banned from using it ?

I will be checking your bait table at the start of the match young man

Not sure if you can feed it though. Will try to find out.
