Oxford winter league round 2

The 2nd round of the Angling trust Oxford winter league was fished by 6 teams of 8 on the Thames at Medley, Abbey road and Folly sections. On a cloudy day with a cold easterly wind and a clear river with very little flow it was the sections in the centre of Oxford that produced most fish with Medley fishing hard for most.
1st Bart Bonito – Sensas A4 – 21lb 0oz. Bart drew on the little used Abbey road section and had 5 big chub, losing 4, on 13m pole and worm over chop worm and caster feed.
2nd Stuart Keable – Sensas A4 – 12lb 12oz. Stuart was on the Folly section in Coca Cola bay and had a mainly roach on the waggler and caster.
3rd Phil Drew – Sensas A4 – 12lb 1oz. Phil had the only double figure weight on Medley and had roach and dace on the pole and maggot over groundbait and pinkie feed.
4th Wayne Gray – Top Tackle – 11lb 10oz.
5th Steve Harwood – Drennan Oxford – 11lb 7oz.
