Take last result out of the equation and most matches on the Nene are very good with lots of Bream, Skimmers and roach caught.
Do you think you really need Bloodworm and joker?
In my opinion it just makes a very good match into a very expensive match, it favours the teams with rich sponsorship deals or the anglers that can afford it.

good point lee but if we had got to the final i would'nt want to be without it its a final and you want to win and if it helps then thats the price you have to pay mate i love balling in and fishing B/J i like cips ruled matches its just something you do
the north bank with no B/J
but if it was banned then its the same for everyone

It`s not a C.I.P.S Rule match, it`s N.F.A rules. Joff do you fish the Soar with B&J?? Listen I`m not knocking the fact that B&J is the bait!! But Lee has a serious argument with cost, availability at this time of year and also...do we really need it at this time of year to get a good match??? Or is it playing into the hands of the elite teams???

My lot are up there for the final, and with joker at £16 per kilo and bloodworm £55 per kilo it's going to be a dear match. Add to that about 5 bags of groundbait and leam, per practice/match!! but I wouldn't not want to be there. Maybe if it were to CIPS rules regarding bait limits it would be better. (cheaper)

I agree with you on this one chavey
The French i think fish to CIPS rules most of the time and if one of their teams were on this final i think they would be favourites. B/joker is a brilliant bait in the right hands and i my opinion the CIPS bait limits are more than enough....they can be compremised with subtle groundbait mixes......an artform in itself, again the French are brilliant at this, the only problem with CIPS rules is that the tip would be a non starter :(
Good luck to your team Chavey ....its a great event and somebody will draw on a load of Bream

I've just looked at the weather forecast for the next two weeks on metcheck and there is quite a bit of rain on its way in the peterborough area. I don't think the river is going to be this clear for the final?
