The book? – Ivan Marks and The Likely Lads by Mark Wintle

Where? – The Parcel Yard pub, 48a London Road, adjacent Leicester Station. LE2 0QB - Public car parks nearby

When? – Saturday 7th November 2015, from noon, books on sale until 2pm.

Who’s going? – I’m hoping that most of the original Likely Lads plus Linda and Chris Marks will be there. Other top match anglers who fished with Ivan and who contributed to the book are invited. See you there.

The book details: 332 pages, hardback; standard copy £20, numbered cloth-bound (only 30 copies) £45. Also available from www.calmproductions.com from 25th October.

The weeks fly by. The book is due in next week and the publisher has set it up for pre-order - Ivan book on pre-order

Has the Calm Productions website been spoofed?

The checkout page is unsecured, which means that credit card details entered on there are not encrypted. I would've loved to have pre-ordered this book, but not using an unsecure site, sorry.

As far as I know it's OK but I'll mention it to the publisher.

Edit: The publisher assures me the site is secure but says phone through if you have doubts.

Just got a look at a copy and delighted with it.
