The next round of the clubs knock out was fished last Sat at Curborough

9 anglers were competing this round instead of the ‘normal’ 8 due to two having the same weight in the last round, with the top 4 to go through

The warriors doing battle on Sat were

Heinzer
Yamo
Zorro
Big Geoff
Tigerbay
BDM
KOD
Veste and
HaHa

By my reckoning BDM, Tigerbay and Zorro deffo went through to the next round and were probably joined by HaHa – tough luck KOD, one more 4ozer and you’d have made the cut

The ‘semi final’ should be interesting…………….

Tk this reply is my PERSONAL thoughts and beleives and in no way aimed at a knock at cashmores club.

I personaly beleive that matches liek the mentioned knock out round shouldnt be held at curbourogh. I love the venue but the 1 thing ive always hated about the venue is the weigh in. It is to inacurate and to fast. When a match has results as close as kod and haha there is no way you can trust the crubourogh weigh. They take the first reading .

Ive had this veiw when i fished with other clubs at crubough. The venues ok for a normal match but when it comes to in this case 4 oz ment a place in the next round i just dont think the weigh in is fair enough to hold these knock outs.

ive always hated about the venue is the weigh in. It is to inacurate and to fast.  

The same goes for every venue I've fished a club match where the 'fishery management' do the weigh in..............

The knock out rounds are decided and stated at the outset by Mick who runs this. As well as never having set sight on the pool previously, this match was also a rearranged fixture and we'd have normally been elsewhere

Officially confirmed last Saturday by Mick that the semi final of the clubs knock out is the next match on The Trent at Bailies Meadow
