Seen it on facebook Simps :( mindless vandalism opening all those locks
For the record vandals did the same thing with a huge lock on the Bridgewater canal in central Manchester , around 12 miles of canal was left with no water and literally millions of fished were lost of all sizes , this was about 7 or 8 years ago and the Bridgy @ Manchester is still devoid of any numbers of fish today

the only thing lost was the water all the fish were killed when the canal was polluted by the two fires next to the canal in the last few years. ive walked this stretch a few times its crystal clear and I have never seen a fish.
