A very windy day for those on the higher pegs but plenty of fish caught if a bit on the smaller side but loads of bites to keep you going. Its not my favourite type of lake/fishing but what do you guys think.
Was the brekkie up to the usual standards as there were new people running the café. I quite liked them as the match organiser got free tea and toast.

Almost forgot
Golden Nugget scores
Watkins 3 Excells 0

The breakfast was fine. I quite liked the lake too. Mainly because there was a good head of decent sized silvers to keep me happy when the carp went off the feed.
Yes the carp were a little on the small size but they were plentiful and they will grow!

Very impressed with the catering and very friendly staff...
The lake is good as a different venue but not something I'd want every week, missing bonus fish at the moment but certainly kept you busy but hey, another pound in the kitty even if I was battered off the next peg!!!

You just reminded me to put up the nugget scores Si.
Seeing as its 2 Watkins against 2 Excells should the scores be on an individual basis. Say like this week Gino was beaten by both Simon and Tony that's 2 points and Tom was beaten by both as well so that's another 2 points making a total score of 4 - 0.
That would make an overall score for the 3 matches so far of Watkins 10 Excells 0. This would more accurately reflect the total dominance of the Watkins family.
:fistycuffs
Well what do you guys think.

As I was late again can't comment on cafe . As for the fishing really enjoyed it , maybe a different venue for the Christmas match as I think everyone would catch . As for the nugget score as long as the Watkins stay in front
not bothered either way .

Who knows what the scores will be at the end of the season
Well working on current form it looks like Watkins 30 Excells 0.
Or are you relying on a repeat of last years fluke at Hartleylands.
