However if 'form' is anything to go by, expect the 2 Cashmores, HaHa, Tommy Cooper, Brambles and Harry to give it a miss too....but there again I could always be wrong

Tone,can u tell me wat those pegs fished like up by that bridge where big baz drew on that last match we fished. Wondering whether to go up that far? I know the winner for that other club was on the wider bit,might put same pegs just a little further apart.

Not that well Col. TK had a big Bream in his 4lb mate. There might only be about 16 of us so would probably be ok if you give everyone 25+ yards

I meant on the next match up there Paul.it wasn't so good on ours but apparently fished well on the next one,but that club spread the pegs out more. The winner in between u n tk won with 38lb.

We've had a few decent weights in the past down there Col - why do you think Mike the Pike raised up like Lazarus and run to his peg last match

I wanto put 8 either side of the bridge at fishly n give everybody a bit more room than normal to give everyone a chance.

'Genuine' absentees apart - dunno why more members don't fish this match on the clubs waters - anyone can win from anywhere, said it time and time again, the canal is an enigma and you honestly never know where the winner will come from....

We all know how much you promote the canal tone but some won't come no matter what. I suppose if u blocked off either end n called it a commie there would be 40 turn up .

I'm thinking of running an evening match next Wednesday. Draw 5pm fish 6 till 9.either on fishly or the common depending on the wind. Both sections are fishing well. If there's enough interest.

Hey col if you do the extension you'll only need to block one end as the others already done for you
