Note to self - must do better if not CBA. 57 fish, problem was all small uns that averaged 4 to the lb as it turns out, not the 5 to the lb I originally thought....

Anyway, onto the tale of the scales and who did what from where - ooops forgot, still waiting for the result sheet off KOD :D :nana

At the end of the day Mick, it's all down to the draw on some fisheries, and unfortunately we drew a virtually fishless area of the venue :( :(

We were all talking to Yamo at the end, and he summed it up when he said that is the cruellest match he had fished, sitting there watching elastic out all round the pool, and nothing happening on our bank. I think we all agreed, we had spent probably less than 45 minutes each of the 5 hours catching fish . But fair play to all the lads, nobody gave in, although we probably all felt like it at some stage. :tiphat :tiphat

PS: After a couple of hours with the Grandson, I am now off the anti depressants :rofl :rofl :rofl

Pegs 60 n 1 either side of the bridge were the fliers. Gone to the usual draw bags :whistle.
The pool had only been stocked 3 weeks earlier n a thousand lb ov fish went in on the Monday before the match so the fish hadn't had the chance to spread out n settle ,it seems they are moving around in big shoals . This time next year it would be a better fishery :thumsup

Have to admit after my visit in the week I did think it was going to be tough,i had fished MrV,s peg and struggled for 22 fish and really didn't want to draw that area at all,was very happy when I drew no where near it :cheerleader..very strange day tho, pegged next to big Baz who had I think had most of his fish down the track where I couldn't get a bite there or down the edge but managed to get 3 swims going tight over and fished them in rotation to keep fish coming steadily, wasted far to much time trying down edge/track and fish got very finicky in last 45 mins which cost me a much better weight...best finish yet in a Cashmores match for me but roll on the next match ...W&E Cut... :cheerleader :cheerleader :cheerleader

There's not many places you can go now n get 60 pegs with parking in 3 different places. It's was just unfortunate that over the winter they had to rebuild the fishery. There still putting fish in so you can't right the place off just yet. Those fish will double in size by next year . Watch this space :thumsup
