With the close season fast approaching several members were found on the banks of The Extension today....
This Saturdays match at Calf Heath was originally scheduled to be on the ext, but before the agm a member suggested I book a match at Calf Heath. Being the listening and ever obliging person I am,
I duly obliged....
Just hope I ain't dropped a goolly cuss a few fish were showing today,............

Had a trip down the extention today ,weather was great and surprisingly there was colour on the boats.
. Fish topping everywhere ,I had 3lb on a top kit until the lawnmower men came along making a racket, had another couple of lb over on bread then after 3hours preping the castar line decided to have a look.
Well I didn't look back ,had a stamp roach a Chuck along with some skimmers n hybrids .surprised the way it fished ,ended up with about 10lb.

It was only 'half way thru' for Big Col but he pulled out his net for this quick snap (before we went for a walk down to the far end)
You cant see all he'd got in there - I reckoned Col had got 7-8lb at this stage but he reckoned on 4

Having read the tales of injuries and afflictions affecting the mobility of so many club members. I intend to ask the club secretary to include on this years AGM. agenda. The possibility of a group membership of BUPA.
Alternatively should we expand the clubs first aid kit. To include at least one stretcher, Oxygen bottles. A Defibulator and several electric buggies
