10 hardy souls braved the freezing temperatures on the T & M at Rugeley today.
Big Col pegged out, ably assisted by his "minders" Tricast and Blues4eva. Think they were checking out what their end pegs would look like.......however, after Big Col dumped a load of toxic waste behind peg 10, nobody wanted to draw that :surprise :surprise
Blues dived in the draw bag first, obviously thinking it was odds of 9/1 against him drawing peg 10. Out comes......peg 10 .
Lo and behold, Tricast held back for his draw, but when he did out came....peg 1 :surprise :surprise. Don't know why those two don't do the lottery
A tough day for all, but here is the tale of the scales:

Well done Mike, 2 big perch (one on the punch) :surprise, and KOD who I believe had one perch and quite a few bits. Big Col had one perch for his weight. I had 4 bites and ended with 3 perch

That sight will be engrained  on mine and Tricast memory for ever and a day let alone the women walking her dog on the field oppersite

In the past Cashmores fishing club have sponsored various useful items. New scales, first aid kits, whistles for members etc.
Has the time come when we should ask the treasurer if he can support an application for an Elsan Portaloo, for the convenience of members?

He said he never saw the barge and hadn't shipped back fully from what I could see perhaps tricast can shed some more light on the incident

Nobody said anything to me about little col twiddling about,come on tricast spill the beans. :surprise

I've only just noticed. Not only was gaz on an end peg tricast was on one aswell. . What's the odds in that.

That was 1 perch for 1lb 14oz odd. One bite one fish . Mike's went on a crash diet in the net. He must have thought they were all jacks

Sorry Col will not be able to make sat match,hope you all have a good day will have to change my glasses Obi,im sure the perch I had looked bigger .
