Got caught reading this months edition while in the supermarket and ended up having to purchase it

Got home and had a proper look and eventually amongst the masses of adverts stumbled upon an article

Chavey on the punch , great read chavey K&A canal looks good and decent stamp roach too, hope you put taypot right on a few things

Thanks, Its full of tench as well, I've done one on catching them in the K&A for the pole fishing mag. as well which should be in this months mag.
I only wish there were a few more matches on there.

Bit far for us lot up here sadly chavey, do you get many skimmers or is it just head down on the roach ?

There are a lot of skimmers in there, and they often win the matches, the section pegged in the semi which threw up lots of good bream/skimmer weights is only pegged for that match but there are a load more areas were there are skimmers. I just fish for the roach and if they come along you will normally catch one on the roach rig, they also show themselves well by bubbling so if it goes quiet on the roach and bubbles appear I normally have a little look. But most of the time I will fish just like I mentioned in the article.

From the pics the K&A looks very similar to the macclesfield canal up here which also tows a bit....
