Sensas Challenge Final 2015

The final is due to be staged on the River Soar at Sutton Bonnington and the surrounding areas on 7/8th March 2015.

To confirm your place please send a cheque for £60 /per team.The event is 5 a Side and will take place over the two match days with total points deciding the winners. Please note you can change as many team members as you like on day two, BUT they cannot fish for two DIFFERENT Teams.

Thursday /Friday 6th/7th March Official training days.

Sat 7th 8.30-9.00am Team entry and section draw
10.00am Anglers allowed at pegs
11.50 pm Balling in ( 10 Minutes )
12.00pm Match 1 starts
3.55pm 5 min Warning
4.00pm Match one finishes
Weigh in and results.

Sun 8th 7.30-8-00 am Section Draw
9.00am Anglers allowed at pegs
10.50am Balling in ( 10 Minutes )
11.00am Match 2 starts
2.55 pm 5 min warning
3.00pm Match two finishes
Weigh in and result

Sensas Challenge 2015
Rules
Most of you will now be familiar with the rules but here is a reminder of them

1. 13m pole limit.
2. Not more than 10% of the shotting capacity of the float allowed on the bottom.
3. No overshotting of floats
4. No legs of boxes or platforms allowed in water (Unless agreed by Steward and confirms to line of sight)
5. All fish, on the final whistle MUST be out of the water , or if netted the landing net must be out of the water. No time is allowed for playing fish.
6. No Placing of Anglers

BAIT LIMITS AND FEEDING.

1. Bait limits A. 1 pint Joker/ Bloodworm, Plus 2.0 Pints other baits.
( 3 pints total)

B, No Bread Punch or Pellets on Hook. (No pellets whatsoever Feed or on Hook)

C. 15 litres of wetted and mixed groundbait and leam. (groundbait includes sweetcorn and
hempseed )

2. FeedingA. Heavy Feeding. In the 10 minute pre baiting
Time balls of Groundbait
can be made with 2 hands

B. Light , During the match you can only make
balls of feed with one hand.
NOTE WELL;
Only take your bait limit to your peg. Checks will be made and blatant disregard for limits will result in a yellow card penalty and a possible 4 point penalty on Day 1 and any re-offenders on day 2 will be disqualified.

Anglers must bait check the Anglers either side or be checked by a steward……

I'M pleased to say the event is sold out and we have a waiting list Please Please if you are in any doubt that you can't make the event please don't leave it until the last minute..
ALSO if Teams find themselves short of anglers please contact MarkD or myself on here .Two teams are a angler short at the moment so if anyone individually would like to fish the competition again let us know so we can sort it out long before the competition. If you contact me or message me i will form a waiting list of individuals so teams can see your names

These are not set in stone yet as i've got to measure out these pegs fingers crossed we have better weather than last year will give a run down when we have sorted the sections 

Whats the thinking behind-No Bread Punch, thats a new one to me.

Do you know who is booked in? have we got a team booked in?
Nigel Bull i thought had done it.

Not sure Darren MarkD has dealt with the bookings and as far as i know all have paid a deposit . iI can only think if you were on last years list your in Mark is away so i can't find out for defo  I'l try and find out off my emails

Usually they send you an invotation, i have not received one this year, yes we fished it last year on the Great Ouse, i have the deposit ready to send

Heard there's seven teams on the waiting list as well. Let's hope the weather behaves itself!

Joff, do you know what date the practice match is going to be, will it be a Wednesday?

Joff, heard heard a couple of rumours saying a couple of sections on the canal could be in.
Could you please confirm either way please .

That was going to be plan B if the river was in flood to keep everyone informed . the river dare i say it looks really good with a few minutes on and a little extra pace which should drop . Just hoping for the fields to dry out a little and we should get in them

anyone wanting to fish please let me know a team is short bait is ordered

Believe it or not two teams have dropped out  it can't be helped but at this stage the teams on the waiting list have made other plans 

we have to go through the pegging again and loose two end pegs

well i through somebody would of posted some results from day 1 ?/??? or as the internet failed down their .

I was told that Des Ship won day 2 with one bite on lobworm which was a 20lb carp.
