I think if I was expected to walk over that either before or after having a pint I would seriously consider finding another pub or going tea total !!!

Me and old Twinky Delbridge stood behind a chap a couple of
seasons ago by that canoe hut. There was a chap fishing a
Crystal waggler on about 6lb line,but before he started he baited
up with bread,hemp,maggots and castars.
Me n Twink looked at one another n thought that was that.
He then cast his line with something like a piece of 6mil punch
only for it to slide away.I said to Twink were doing it all wrong
mate as he walked back to the car shaking his head.
