Simple Match Fishing Forum

Had a wander down the cut at Wheaton Aston to see the lads fishing the last hour and to weigh in for the lads. Carlos, on peg one was having a few "blippers", but he also looked a bit pale and shocked. OBI on peg two said it was cos he was sat in his car, pre draw, having a butty, when he glanced in his wing mirror and spotted a total eclipse of the landscape....apparently Big Col was having a dump in the field behind him . I realised Blues4eva wasn't there when I noticed Tricast on the other end peg (that's 3 on the trot bruv, you will be getting talked about )

Anyway, I weighed in for the 7 hardy souls who braved the gales and cold, and the result was nearly as tight as TK's wallet

Peg 1. Carlos 3-8-0
Peg2. OBI. 1-5-6
Peg 3. Big Col 6-5-0 (couple of nice perch and a 12oz roach included)
Peg 4. PhilB. 2-10-4
Peg 5. KOD 1-11-4
Peg 6. Josh. 1-11-0
Peg 7. Tricast 6-4-8 (few nice skimmers included)

Took a few piccies, so I will post them up tomorrow

Obi got me a large breakfast ,a bit too much for my slender figure
Had to do a little fertilizing.

Pooor farmer I feel sorry for...never had a cow in that field and now he has got to find out where that huge cow pat has come from and who taught the cow to wipe its not inconsiderable sized wobbly cheeks on bog roll ....

Someone spied it and the usual Muppets started moaning
A couple said it wasn't allowed but it's on the season tickets that you can use it from 1st Nov to end Jan. Then they said there club
had banned it even though it was an open.
The organizer said Gaz hadn't done anything wrong and told him to
weigh in but by the time them out the (anglers peg ) had put there
two penneth in and being the gentleman he is ,he decided to throw
back. And apparently he would have won .
There should be some heads hanging low this morning.

Just to put the record straight I did feed joker in my GB and to be fair to the lad who organised the match
He did advised me to weigh in because as far as he was concerned there were no bait bans as it was an open.
However it seems that some of the anglers were under the understanding that B&J was banned so I took it myself not to weigh in
Regardless of whether I would have framed is either here or there as I go fishing to catch fish not for the money
Certainly no hard feelings on my part

So roll on Saturday and hopefully another End Peg( surely not)
