No, I drew decidedly average on Bridge 7 but still managed a very respectable 3rd in section to keep my chances afloat. Had 37lb of barbel and was beaten by pegs 9 and 11 on the bends and just 12oz off 2nd.
Mark drew a flier Peg 35 on Meadow and i think he came 3rd too. Not sure as i helped Neil weigh in 4 sections as its no fun weighing 40 anglers and doing the board by yourself when its p#ssing down!
3 sections on Meadow dominated all the frame weights as expected. Old Canal was v patchy as expected with Si Wilsmore, Si Fry and Tommy Pickering all having 7lb and Neil Machin 7th out of 10 with 13lb!
Island was tough with Rob Perkins sbest with 30lb. Ringer was halfway on here. The skimmers on Match/Speci Lake failed to show up but Lee Kerry won that with 47lb on the Method. Jeff Moors had a 17lb carp on 0.10mm bottom and weighed 20lb.
Mark Lucas from Nottingham won the match with 80lb.
